Community Engagement Coordinator (Up to $5,500 | 12-Months Contract | Central)

Are you passionate about community development and the arts? We are looking for a Community Engagement Coordinator to support the growth and impact of our arts and culture initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to expand the reach of our programs and ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as venue owners, grassroots organizations, and partner agencies to expand the programme's reach and impact.
  2. Collaborate with team members and partners to ensure smooth operations, including securing venues, handling logistics, and coordinating community performances.
  3. Develop and execute publicity strategies to enhance awareness of arts initiatives and drive community participation.
  4. Assist in the coordination of arts-related events by inviting relevant participants and ensuring effective engagement.
  5. Design and implement data collection methodologies to gather and analyze program metrics for continuous improvement and evaluation.
  6. Curate compelling human interest stories through community engagement and surveys, highlighting residents and performers.
  7. Foster strong working relationships with government agencies and community partners to share best practices, leverage resources, and enhance program outcomes.
  8. Handle procurement processes and manage financial documentation such as Statements of Accounts (SOAs) for reimbursement, ensuring compliance with financial procedures.
  9. Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess program effectiveness, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Perform any ad-hoc duties as required.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and manage logistics for community events.
  • Experience in community development or arts-related programs is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data collection methodologies and experience in program evaluation.
  • Ability to manage financial documentation and ensure compliance with procedures.
