About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Seng Joo Huat Pte. Ltd. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the successful financial and contractual management of our construction and interior fit-out projects.This is a full-time position offering excellent opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities- Source for tenders that align with our BCA grading.
- Familiar with tender portals such as Tenderboard, Sesami, GeBIZ, Ariba, Vendorcafe, and Coupa.
- Prepare and analyze detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and contractual documentation.
- Manage and negotiate contractor accounts, variations, and final accounts.
- Advise on procurement strategies to optimize project costs.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective cost control and project delivery.
- Prepare and present progress reports, cost analyses, and financial forecasts.
- Provide expert advice on construction contracts and commercial management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quantity surveying practices and internal processes.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the interior fit-out industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and quantity surveying principles.
- Proficient in quantity surveying software and digital tools.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
