Responsibilities:

• Provide overall technical solutions to customers which are not limited to company’s products only but also the inclusion of tooling, and part design analysis i.e – CAE, and injection molding
• Conduct market research on the latest technology trends related to the company’s current or future targeted applications
• Plan and work together with the commercial team to create a mid-term plan as well as long-term plan business strategy on target application
• Provide solution and technical support to the commercial team in meeting short-term budget targets
• Plan and evaluate analysis methods about actual application requirements and needs to provide actual data to customers for application development
• Obtain actual application requirements and translate these technical requirements into actual material properties for R&D to formulate new material.
• Provide support in negotiating newly formulated material technical properties limitation with customers on specific application needs & requirements
• Provide technical marketing activities in developing new markets and/or customers.
• Provide technical training to all business partners such as Traders and/or Distributors on Engineering Polymer, technical training will be also extended to customers as and when requested.
• Organized trade show to enhance AK product brand marketing.
• Conducting molding trials with customers

Requirements:

• Knowledge in Polymer / Plastics is a must
• Polymer stream graduate (Dip and above) Chemical Graduate will be consider as well
• Knowledge with minimum 3 yrs experience in plastics injection molding and experience of chemical
• analysis for plastics or chemicals
• Frequent travelling will be required for this position
• Good knowledge with Microsoft excel and power point presentation will be an advantage
