About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join 5 Masons Pte Ltd as an Assistant Project Manager. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects on site. You will work closely with the project management team to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Construction (M&E/A&A) or equivalent.
  • Preferable with 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Engineering - Construction or equivalent.
  • 5.5 days work week.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
What you'll be doing
  • Assisting the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating all aspects of construction projects
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure effective communication and problem-solving
  • Providing administrative support, such as maintaining project documentation, processing invoices, and updating project records
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations and company policies
  • Participating in site inspections and meetings to address any issues or concerns
  • Providing support to the Project Manager in handling any ad hoc tasks or responsibilities
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar assistant project management role within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction project management principles, including scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members
  • Proficient in using project management software and office productivity tools
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask and priorities tasks effectively
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
