Investor Relations Executive
Job Description:
The Investor Relations Executive is responsible for supporting the firm’s capital raising and investor servicing activities. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with existing investors while assisting with the onboarding and communication of prospective investors.The individual will work closely with senior management to ensure timely, accurate, and professional communication with the firm’s limited partners and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include coordinating investor communications, preparing investor materials such as investor letters, presentations, and performance reports, and responding to investor inquiries and due diligence requests. The role also involves maintaining investor databases, supporting fundraising processes, organizing investor meetings and events, and coordinating with internal teams and external service providers to ensure the smooth execution of reporting and subscription processes.
The Investor Relations Executive is expected to develop a strong understanding of the firm’s investment strategy, portfolio, and performance in order to effectively represent the firm to investors and provide clear, consistent messaging.
Requirements:
- Around 10 years of Investor Relations experience strongly preferred (Prior Equity Long Only, Long Short or Activist investing)
- Capital Introduction (Prime Brokerage) or Equity Sales experience is also of interest
- Extremely strong communication skills, capable of building rapport with LPs
- Current Japan market knowledge (understanding of Activism preferred)
- Bilingual Japanese/English
