Finance & Accounts Manager (Payroll, AR/AP & Audit) Service Sector (Retail / Beauty Preferred)

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Manager to oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations, including payroll, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), staff and supplier payments, and audit compliance.

• Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Operations Management

• Oversee full spectrum of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions
• Ensure timely invoicing, collections, supplier payments, and expense reimbursements
• Monitor cash flow and ensure healthy financial operations

1. Payroll Management

• Oversee and review monthly payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Ensure proper reconciliation of payroll with financial records

1. Payments & Controls

• Approve and manage staff and supplier payments
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure proper financial governance

1. Audit & Compliance

• Lead audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with statutory requirements
• Oversee year-end closing and audit schedules

1. Reporting & Reconciliation

• Review financial reports, reconciliations, and ensure data accuracy
• Analyse financial performance and highlight key variances

1. Systems & Process Improvement

• Oversee usage of accounting systems (QuickBooks, Salesforce)
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

1. Team Leadership & Support

• Guide and supervise Accounts Executives/Assistants
• Provide training and ensure team productivity and accuracy

1. Ad-hoc & Strategic Support

• Support management with financial insights and decision-making
• Handle ad-hoc finance and operational projects

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4–7 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory/lead role
• Strong experience in payroll, AR, AP, and audit coordination
• Experience in retail and/or beauty industry preferred
• Proficient in QuickBooks, Salesforce, and Excel
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information
