Tampines - Regional sales manager
REGIONAL SALES MANAGER based in Singapore.
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager with proven experience in the electronics manufacturing industry, based in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for driving regional sales growth across Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore by leading distributors, strengthening key customer relationships, and executing strategic initiatives.The focus will be on providing and selling reliable SMT/THT soldering and automation solutions to meet evolving production needs in the electronics sector.
Your Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Southeast Asia to grow and diversify the existing customer base.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, distributors, and partners, ensuring long-term collaboration and satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Utilize and conduct product demonstrations at application demo centers located in Thailand, Penang, Vietnam, and other strategic locations to support sales activities and customer engagement.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure the exceptional after-sales support.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to uncover opportunities for growth.
- Participate in international and domestic exhibitions, trade shows, seminars and technology days representing the company and promoting its offerings.
- Support marketing campaigns aimed at lead generation and brand awareness.
- Travel extensively within Southeast Asia to engage with potential and existing customers and participate in industry events, ensuring a strong presence in the region.
- Liaise with Headquarters in Germany and sister companies in Asia to ensure strategic alignment and information flow.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business development, preferably in the electronic production equipment our capital equipment industry.
- Records in achieving sales targets and managing distributor/partner relationships.
- Good technical understanding of machines requiring explanation. Experience in the field of electronic production equipment or related industries would be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
- Multilingual capabilities (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa, Thai) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
