Who We Are Looking For & Your Role
We’re seeking a practical, reliable, and hands-on Facilities Officer who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our buildings are safe, well-maintained, and ready to support daily operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspecting and maintaining air-conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
- Coordinating service contractors for cleaning, landscaping, pest control, and repairs.
- Performing minor repairs and maintenance, including wall plastering, painting, carpentry, and basic plumbing.
- Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting AV equipment for events and meetings.
- Handling administrative tasks such as tracking inventories, recording meter readings, and following up on work orders.
- Supporting logistics, site readiness, and ad-hoc duties as assigned.
- Hands-on experience in building and facilities maintenance, including preventive maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and AV systems.
- Ability to perform minor repairs (e.g., light fixtures, locks, taps, wall touch-ups).
- Practical experience in carpentry, ironmongery, plumbing, and drainage works.
- Familiarity with supervising and coordinating service contractors while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Organised, reliable, and comfortable with manual and on-site duties, including site walkabouts and equipment moves.
- Clear communicator and team player, capable of handling varied tasks under pressure.
