What to expect
As the Senior Key Account Executive / Assistant Key Account Manager in the Sales team, you will be responsible for managing Mandom’s retail channels and driving the growth of key accounts.
In this role, you will play a critical part in accelerating sales revenue by building and maintaining strong, strategic relationships with key business partners. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities and execute sales strategies.
You will be in charge of
Accounts Management, Sales & Commercial Planning- Develop,plan and execute monthly and annual sales plans to achieve sales targets
- Analyse and review sales results to evaluate ROI & promotion effectiveness, margincalculation, and execution of sales activities
- Present sales proposal to buyers
- Evaluate sales channel performances against sales target
- Recommend actions to improve revenue, distribution, and visibility
- Identify new business opportunities and conceptualise appropriate sales strategy
- Manage day-to-day operations including creation and submission of new product listing, promotion or other relevant forms to retailers when required
- Liaise with internal teams (Marketing, Supply chain, Accounts) to support key accounts needs
- Manage, coordinate and evaluate trade promotional activities
- Work with merchandisers to ensure seamless in-store execution and product visibility
- Develop insights from buyer's feedback and market sentiments to enhance sales performance
- Build, maintain and strengthen relationship with trade partners
- Conduct periodic business reviews with trade partners of designated accounts
- Negotiate on pricing, promotions, and trade terms to match our company objectives withtheir needs, strategies and opportunities
- Understand retailers’ operational issues and propose solutions
- Manage Sales & Advertising and Promotion(A&P) budgets to ensure that promotional expenses are kept within budget
- Evaluate post-promotion performance to ensure effective use of budget
- Work with internal stakeholders to optimise allocation of resources across activities
- Monitor stock levels and collaborate with supply chain to manage forecasting and replenishment
- Minimise risks of out-of-stock and overstock /slow-moving inventory
- Track sell-through and recommend actions for ageing or excess stock
- Supervise and mentor the merchandising team and Beauty advisors, to ensure strong in-store execution
- Ensure compliance with planograms, product listings, and promotional displays
- Work closely with merchandisers to improve product visibility, shelf placement and stock availability
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree holders with at least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in the FMCG industry
- Relevant experience in negotiation with trade partners and understanding of consumer channels
- Tenacity in achieving sales targets
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify new opportunities for growth
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Highly driven and motivated team-player
