We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Specialist (Server & IT Solutions) to join our team.
This role focuses primarily on server products, with involvement in other IT solutions such as networking, storage, and cloud when required. The Product Specialist will take a lead role in presales and business development, working closely with vendors, partners, and customers to identify opportunities, design solutions, and support the sales team in securing customer purchase orders (POs).
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors, distributors, and partners.
- Learn in depth about server technologies and other IT products through vendor training, workshops, and certifications.
- Lead and coordinate presales activities, including:
- Understanding customer requirements and proposing suitable solutions.
- Preparing solutions, BOMs, quotations, and technical proposals.
- Assisting the sales team in product presentations and technical discussions.
- Act as the main PIC for tender bidding, coordinating vendor quotes, technical documents, compliance lists, and submission timelines.
- Work with the sales team to follow up on opportunities, handle technical or pricing questions, and secure customer POs.
- Develop new opportunities together with vendors and partners by aligning product focus, promotions, and go-to-market strategies.
- Engage with customers to discuss requirements, clarify solution details, and provide presales support as needed.
- Stay up to date on server technology trends, vendor roadmaps, and IT market developments.
- Share vendor and product updates with internal teams to strengthen solution and sales capabilities.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in servers, IT infrastructure, and presales solution design.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and relationship-building skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a vendor- and partner-focused, presales-driven environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and tenders simultaneously.
- Fresh graduates are welcome — training and mentoring will be provided.
