Our client is a logistics company dedicated to providing top-notch freight forwarding services. They are committed to driving growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing?- Selling Freight Forwarding Services: Present and promote a comprehensive range of freight forwarding solutions including air, ocean, and project or bulk cargo, to both existing and new customers, helping them move their goods efficiently across the globe.
- Business Development: Proactively hunt for and engage prospective clients, building a strong and growing pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Solution Consultation: Take the time to understand each customer's unique logistics needs and craft tailored proposals that deliver real value.
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term, positive relationships with customers and business partners, becoming a trusted point of contact they can rely on.
- Sales Performance: Work towards agreed sales targets and deliver results within set timelines, contributing meaningfully to the team's overall success.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with team members and internal departments to ensure a seamless and coordinated sales and service experience for customers.
- Market Intelligence Reporting: Keep management informed with timely reports on customer feedback, market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Customs Knowledge Application: Apply a solid understanding of Singapore Customs procedures to guide customers through compliance requirements and ensure smooth shipment processes.
- Freight Forwarding Sales Experience: A minimum of 1 year of direct sales experience within a freight forwarding company is required, bringing hands-on knowledge of the industry and its dynamics.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with air and ocean freight, and ideally project or bulk cargo, will help in confidently engaging customers and proposing the right solutions.
- Customs Proficiency: A good working knowledge of Singapore Customs procedures is valued, supporting accurate and compliant advice to customers.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong communicators who can build rapport, listen actively, and engage effectively with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders are encouraged to apply.

- Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 9am – 6pm

- Salary: $4000 - $5000 + Quarterly Comms + Transport allowance + AWS Provided
