Procurement Manager (Semiconductor)

• Act as the point-of-contact for leadership with all information pertaining to supplier, purchasing, risk management activities and etc
• Work with other Procurement Business Partners, Ops and Supply Chain functional leaders to address cross-divisional supplier issues
• Partner with local teams on shortage of raw material and ensure adequate mitigation is in place and handle urgent issues at division level
• Provide expertise inputs and actively manage internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of business goal and achieve issue resolution
• Support and attain savings initiatives and develop an approach to improve site-based buying which align with Category Management
• Collaborate with Asia Division and Supply Chain Leaders to propel inventory and service level improvements
• Advice and guide Category Manager to achieving notable cost reductions and provide Asia Division input to direct category strategies
• Have an understanding and work with suppliers to help ensure continuity of supply and appropriate strategies are in place
• Teach, develop and assess dotted line purchasing talent to improve productivity, capability/skill development and proficiency
• Partner with Site Leadership team to provide guidance and develop local buyers through mentoring and development plans on areas of improvement for robust succession and talent management plans

• Degree qualification with above 15 years of experience of the Supply Chain and/or Procurement functions, including Planning experience
• Knowledge of the semiconductor industry's products and practice
• Excellent relationship building skills such as collaboration, influencing, and conflict management
• Knowledge in SAP, Power BI, and Sharepoint
• Strong strategic/problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities
• Knowledge of procurement best practices
