Job Description
We are seeking an enterprising and resourceful Business Development Executive / Senior Executive to drive the expansion of our brand through franchise development and strategic growth initiatives. The role involves liaising with prospective franchisees to secure franchise deals, sourcing suitable operational sites, and supporting the preparation of tenders and business proposals to unlock new revenue opportunities for the group.This is a high-impact role suited for someone with a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple growth-focused initiatives simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Franchise Development- Engage with prospective franchisees, addressing queries, providing detailed information, and nurturing leads through the decision-making process.
- Present the franchise offering confidently and persuasively across meetings, calls, and written communication.
- Support the negotiation and closure of franchise agreements, ensuring alignment with the group’s strategic objectives.
- Identify and evaluate suitable sites for new business locations in collaboration with internal operations and real estate teams.
- Conduct initial site assessments, coordinate site visits, and liaise with landlords, agents, or developers.
- Provide recommendations on site suitability based on operational, commercial, and regulatory criteria.
- Assist in the preparation of business proposals, grant applications, and tender submissions to support various revenue channels.
- Conduct research, gather data, and contribute to the writing and packaging of proposals in a compelling and professional manner.
- Maintain and update records of prospects, leads, and opportunities in the business development pipeline.
- Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for partnerships, expansion, and revenue diversification.
- Support cross-functional collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and successful execution of growth plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
- 2–6 years of experience in business development, sales, franchising, or site acquisition.
- Experience in franchising, retail expansion, or multi-location operations is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to build relationships, manage leads, and close deals
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Highly organised, with strong project management and follow-through abilities.
- Commercially savvy with an understanding of franchise operations and business models.
- Confident communicator, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfortable working independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools; familiarity with property sourcing platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings, to accommodate prospective client schedules.
