Desktop Network Engineer - Toa Payoh

About the role

We are seeking a talented Desktop Network Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time position based in the Central/West Region. As a Desktop Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of our organisation's desktop computing infrastructure.

• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for desktop computers, including hardware and software issues
• Configuring and deploying desktop systems, including operating system installation, application installation, and user account management
• Monitoring and maintaining the performance and security of the desktop network infrastructure
• Implementing and administering desktop management tools, such as remote access, patch management, and software deployment
• Collaborating with the IT team to identify and resolve network-related problems affecting desktop users
• Documenting desktop network procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
• Providing training and guidance to end-users on desktop-related issues and best practices

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a Desktop Network Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of desktop operating systems, such as Windows, macOS, and Linux
• Proficient in desktop hardware and software troubleshooting, configuration, and deployment
• Experience with desktop management tools and technologies, such as remote access, patch management, and software deployment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve desktop-related issues
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with IT team members and provide support to end-users
• Familiarity with network infrastructure, protocols, and security best practices
• Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), would be an advantage
