The Community Engagement & Outreach Partner supports community engagement, outreach, and partnership initiatives through events, roadshows, and public-facing activities. This role plays an important part in raising awareness of available programmes and services, engaging members of the public, and facilitating access to relevant support and opportunities.
We are seeking energetic and confident individuals who enjoy interacting with people and building meaningful connections within the community. Successful candidates will be deployed to outreach activities and events to promote awareness, generate engagement, and support programme participation.
Key Responsibilities
Community Outreach & Engagement- Participate in outreach events, roadshows, exhibitions, and community engagement activities.
- Engage members of the public through face-to-face interactions and engagement activities.
- Share information on available programmes, services, and support initiatives.
- Conduct basic advisory conversations to understand individual needs and guide them towards appropriate resources and opportunities.
- Support participant registrations, referrals, and onboarding activities in accordance with project objectives and KPIs.
- Build rapport with participants and maintain a positive and professional representation of the organisation.
- Generate enquiries, sign-ups, and programme participation through active engagement efforts.
- Support the planning and execution of outreach and engagement events.
- Assist with event setup, registration, participant management, crowd engagement, and event teardown activities.
- Facilitate engagement activities and encourage participation during events and roadshows.
- Ensure smooth event operations and provide a positive experience for participants.
- Support the Community Engagement Manager in maintaining and strengthening relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
- Assist in coordinating partnership activities, collaborative initiatives, and engagement programmes.
- Represent the organisation professionally during meetings, events, and partnership engagements where required.
- Collect, verify, and maintain participant records and supporting documentation where required.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry into internal systems and databases.
- Maintain proper records of outreach activities, participant engagements, and programme outcomes.
- Prepare reports and provide updates on assigned activities and performance metrics.
- Adhere to organisational, project, and regulatory guidelines, policies, and procedures at all times.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with established service and quality standards.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of participant information in compliance with PDPA requirements.
- Undertake any other duties assigned by the Line Supervisor.
- Comfortable working a 5-day work week, including weekends when events overlap where required.
- Able to work flexible hours based on operational and event requirements.
- Passionate about supporting individuals and connecting them to meaningful opportunities and resources.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong sense of initiative.
- Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience in community engagement, outreach, events, customer service, recruitment, sales, partnerships, or related fields will be advantageous.
- Ability to build relationships and establish rapport with stakeholders and members of the public.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ensure documentation and records are maintained accurately and updated in a timely manner.
- Provide accurate reporting on assigned activities and outcomes.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and service delivery.
- Comply with all data protection, confidentiality, and organisational requirements.
