Project Manager for Interior Design Company
- Responsible for the successful project management, implementation and handover within specified schedule, budget and meeting client’s expectation, relevant regulatory and safety requirements.
- Full time supervisions on onsite projects operations and project teams to ensure on-time project delivery according to the planned schedule and within the resources allocated.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, main-contractors and relevant authorities on design, work progress, quality, safety and schedules.
- Handle multiple daily onsite operations involving preparing onsite detailed shop drawings for onsite discussions.
- Supervise all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
- Determine arrangement for daily operation like the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower.
- Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.
- Handle site meetings, inspecting, monitoring and reporting of project progress.
- Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities or landlords for construction sites.
- Analyse the actual performance against the project target.
- Review and redesign work flows and processes if necessary to mitigate safety risks.
- Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the General Manager/Director
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering field or relevant with construction safety course certificates i.e. BCSS, WAH, Risk Management, etc.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in managing construction teams for projects in Singapore.
- Well versed with construction materials, local codes and regulations.
- Extensive work experience managing onsite operations for full scope interior projects.
- Strong organizational, time management and verbal and written communication skills.
