As a fast-growing organisation committed to reducing carbon emissions and transforming the mobility landscape, we are seeking a Sales Executive – Commercial Vehicles to support the growth of our electric vehicle (EV) business in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales of BYD commercial electric vehicle (EV) in the Singapore market.
- Support the development and expansion of distribution channels for BYD’s commercial vehicle portfolio.
- Identify target market segments and support the execution of sales and marketing strategies.
- Develop and track sales targets, including annual plans and periodic forecasts.
- Liaise with BYD HQ (R&D and production teams) on product specifications, requirements, availability, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities and stakeholders on homologation and regulatory compliance for EVs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and government bodies to stay updated on EV policies and market trends.
- Provide market feedback and insights to support product positioning and business growth.
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline; candidates with Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background will have an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, operations, or project management, preferably within automotive, commercial vehicles, or related industries.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese to liaise with China HQ and local stakeholders.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
