Drafter (ACMV/HVAC)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The HVAC Drafter is responsible for preparing accurate and coordinated air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) drawings for construction projects. The role supports engineers and project teams by producing drawings, coordination drawings, and documentation compliance with project specifications, and other requirements.

• Prepare detail drawings, as-built drawings plans and layout based on specifications using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and completeness for submission.
• Revise and update drawings in accordance with engineer’s instructions, site conditions, and comments by project team.
• Identify and resolve clashes related to ducts, pipes, beams, ceilings, and other building services.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other stakeholders to understand design requirements, address queries, and coordinate drafting activities.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Conduct site visits as required to verify site conditions and installation details.
• Perform other ad-hoc drafting assigned by the Project Management Team to support project needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related/equivalent field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant drafting experience in ACMV / HVAC.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of ACMV systems such as AHU, FCU, VRF/VRV, Chilled Water Systems.
• Able to do 3D modelling using Revit software and detect clashes using Naviswork software.
• Familiar with Singapore construction practices, standards, and codes (e.g. SS, CP, BCA requirements).
• Ability to read and understand construction M&E drawings.
