[ref. a89906320] Hougang - Electromechanical Design Engineer (CAD/3D /Knowledge of Electrical Wiring)
- Location : Joo Seng Road (Nearest MRT: Tai Seng MRT - 13 minute walk)
- Working hours : 5 days a week - Monday to Friday | 8.30am - 5.30pm
- Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to Basic $6500 + AWS
- Duration : Permanent

Main Responsibilities:
- Design and develop hazardous area and industrial enclosures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Create drawings for quotes, manufacture, and assembly using AutoDesk Inventor and Vault.
- Design and develop enclosure variations, oversee testing and certification, and conduct QA/QC inspections.
- Collaborate with global teams, interact with clients and suppliers, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Drive continuous optimization of product design to reduce production costs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication, polymer injection molding, or related fields.
- Proficient in CAD systems (Autodesk Inventor and Vault preferred).
- Familiarity with industrial drawing standards, wiring processes, and electrical principles.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and commit to quality.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications
