Pasir Ris - Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and development processes, including product testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure products meet required specifications and industry standards.
2. Create and modify 2D/3D CAD models (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, Inventor etc.)
3. Develop design prototypes and conduct design for manufacturing/assembly (DFMEA/PFMEA).
4. Perform Tolerance analysis (GD&T), Verification, Validation, and Design Transfer to packaging.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high quality product development.
6. Prepare technical drawings, bill of materials (BOMs) and documentation for the design and processes.
7. Suggest process improvements to supplier and enhance customer satisfaction.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.
9. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. At least Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD/Solidworks preferred).
3. Preferably experienced in the regulated design control basis (e.g. ISO 13485 etc.) and manufacturing aspects.
