We are looking for a driven and hands-on Management Trainee to join our retail operations team. This role is designed to groom you into a Shop Manager, providing exposure across store operations, team management, sales performance, and retail strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of retail stores and assist in managing Store Assistants
• Ensure smooth store operations, including customer service standards and store compliance
• Operate and oversee the POS system and retail transactions

• Monitor store productivity through weekly and monthly sales reports
• Analyse performance and identify opportunities to improve sales and profitability
• Support seasonal and annual budgeting for stores

• Manage and optimise inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimise losses
• Ensure proper execution of visual merchandising and display standards
• Monitor and support stock clearance and promotional activities

• Liaise with shopping malls and partners on campaigns, promotions, and events
• Ensure timely and accurate implementation of all store promotions

• Assist in training and coaching retail staff to improve performance and service standards
• Support performance reviews and staff development initiatives

• Conduct store audits (operations, HR, and administration) and ensure compliance with company standards
• Identify gaps and work with management to implement improvements

• Support ad-hoc operational tasks and projects as assigned

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong interest in retail operations and people management
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, hands-on, and willing to learn
• Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
