Technical Manager, Assurance - Toa Payoh

Job Description:

• Join the technical team to support the growth of the organisation and direct assurance engagements by advocating the latest professional standards.
• Act as subject matter expert on Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards, Singapore Standards on Auditing and other relevant financial reporting and auditing frameworks.
• Establishes quality control processes and risk management procedures embracing technology in line with the requirements of Singapore Standard on Quality Management
• Provide guidance and resolution for complex accounting and audit issues.
• Stay up to date on evolving financial reporting standards, auditing standards and other relevant regulatory requirements, and assess their impact on clients and the firm and Disseminate updates to the organization.
• Develop and implement firm-wide policies for audit engagements to ensure compliance with evolving financial reporting and auditing standards, and other relevant regulatory requirements
• Develop technical training materials, sample financial statements and technical guides and facilitate training.
• Design and lead internal and external seminars on accounting matters
• Prepare technical bulletins and other communications to inform and update the firm and the clients on emerging accounting and auditing developments
• Update and maintain the firm’s technical and consultation database

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 6–8 years of relevant experience in audit, technical accounting, or a related advisory role, preferably in a professional service.
