IT Project Manager (Manufacturing Automation) - Toa Payoh

Job Summary:

My client is a Manufacturing MNC and they are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Project Manager to lead digital transformation initiatives within the Manufacturing Automation sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process automation technologies such as Microsoft Power Automate or Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management for digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions using Power Automate or RPA tools.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Ensure alignment of IT solutions with business goals and manufacturing processes.
• Manage stakeholder communications, including reporting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Act as an evangelist, training and improving the skills of employees in SEA sites.
• Monitor and evaluate project outcomes to ensure continuous improvement and scalability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial automation.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or similar RPA platforms.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and systems (e.g., MES, ERP, SCADA).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia or Bahasa Melayu is required due to the need to engage and liaise with stakeholders from the different regional markets.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Ability to work in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Travelling is required.
