Job Description:

Our client, a leading commercial bank headquartered in the US, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing credit risk, conducting financial analysis, and supporting the bank’s lending decisions to ensure sound credit management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess the creditworthiness of corporate and commercial clients.
• Prepare comprehensive credit risk assessments, reports, and recommendations for loan approvals.
• Monitor existing loan portfolios, identifying potential risks and early warning signals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies.
• Collaborate with relationship managers and other stakeholders to structure credit facilities.
• Support the development of risk mitigation strategies and credit portfolio management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that impact credit risk assessment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, preferably in commercial or corporate banking.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, risk assessment, and credit evaluation techniques.
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and banking software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
