About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and service-oriented Assistant Restaurant Manager / Management Trainee (Service) to support the daily operations of our premium Japanese fine dining restaurant. This role is ideal for an experienced F&B professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences while leading and motivating the service team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations
- Lead and supervise the service team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Deliver excellent customer service and handle guest feedback professionally
- Ensure service standards, cleanliness, and hygiene standards are consistently maintained
- Support staff training, scheduling, and performance management
- Coordinate closely with kitchen and management teams for operational excellence
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and food safety regulations
- Minimum 3 years of experience in F&B or Fine Dining restaurant management
- Experience in Japanese dining or fine dining environment preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with a positive and proactive attitude
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Proficient in English; Japanese language ability is an advantage
