Assistant HR Manager (HR Operations / Payroll / Manufacturing) - Choa Chu Kang

Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management: End-to-end processing including OT, bonuses, allowances; ensure HRIS accuracy and resolve payroll discrepancies in coordination with Finance.
- HR Operations & Compliance: Oversee daily HR functions, maintain employee records, enforce HR policies, and ensure compliance with labor laws and safety standards.
- Recruitment & On/Offboarding: Partner with Talent Acquisition for hiring, lead onboarding/offboarding processes for direct workers, and support workforce planning.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as the main contact for employee concerns, drive engagement initiatives, and conduct surveys to improve satisfaction and retention.
- Performance Management: Administer appraisals, track development plans, and align employee goals with plant objectives.
- Compensation & Benefits: Manage medical/insurance claims, support compensation planning, and liaise with vendors.
- Training & Development: Coordinate safety, technical, and leadership training in partnership with L&D.
- HR Data & Reporting: Prepare HR metrics, support audits and forecasts, and provide data-driven insights to leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
- 4–6 years of HR experience, with 2 years leading or mentoring junior members (preferably in manufacturing)
- Strong knowledge in payroll, HR compliance, and employment laws
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
