Assistant Quality Engineer [ 5 days / Manufacturing ] - Choa Chu Kang

Basic Salary: $2400 - $2800

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update QMS documentation to comply with ISO 9001 and API Q1 standards.
• Assist in managing supplier quality, including qualification, audits, and corrective actions.
• Monitor and update the calibration status of measuring instruments and equipment.
• Review calibration reports and follow up on out-of-tolerance findings.
• Compile and report monthly departmental KPIs and quality metrics.
• Record, track, and follow up on NCRs, CARs, and customer complaints.
• Coordinate with production teams on quality issues and process improvements.
• Support the Management Representative (MR) during internal, ISO, and API audits.

Requirements:

• Familiar with API, ASTM, and ASME standards.
• Knowledge of internal audit practices or certification
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic project coordination tools.
