Export Sales Coordinator (Food Service)

Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of ship chandler accounts to meet sales targets and serve as the primary liaison for key stakeholders.
- Perform market research to identify new business opportunities in target regions and sectors, focusing on up-selling and cross-selling the company’s full product range.
- Proactively pursue new sales leads from marketing initiatives, trade exhibitions, referrals, and other sources to drive conversion and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with export sales managers to prepare, issue, and track accurate and timely responses to Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
- Process customer orders, issue Proforma Invoices (PIs), and input sales orders into the company’s internal system.
- Work closely with logistics, operations, and finance departments to ensure seamless order fulfilment and timely delivery.
- Keep comprehensive and current records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities within the CRM system.
- Deliver regular sales performance reports and forecasts to the Department Head.
- Diploma in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in sales/account management with solid understanding of the sales cycle, including lead generation, RFQ management, and order processing OR
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, and has 6-month internship in shipping, freight forwarding, or B2B sales coordination role
- Fresh Graduates with related internship experience are welcome to apply.
- Nice to Have (Optional): Existing knowledge of the ship chandling/marine supply industry or experience attending trade shows.
- Basic proficiency with CRM software and ERP systems for data management.
- Strong numerical skills for invoicing and reporting, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Highly proactive and self-motivated with a hunter mentality for seeking new business.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and follow up on pending tasks.
