Job Purpose

Support and administer Network, Security hardware and software applications including troubleshooting on any technical issue during breakdown.
Provide daily technical support to end users on database, networking and windows server management issues.

Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure smooth functioning and co-ordination of vendors for Guest Internet, Property Management Systems, Telephony systems and other software vendors.
Oversee Preventive Maintenance (PM) for all hardware and software.
Administer and maintain IT policy and procedures.
Manage Disaster Recovery Process and ensure regular daily backup of data.
Establish proper inventory for all IT hardware and software licenses.
Maintain and upgrade Network designs.
Install and upgrade available and related software.
Ensure IT system security is not compromised.
Administer and manage email accounts and access to Lab Information System (LIS).
Troubleshoot any computer and/or LIS issues that arises.
Monitor condition of network, server, apps and security measures.
Provide remote or onsite IT helpdesk support to our end-users related to hardware, software, phone system, photocopiers, door access system, video-conferencing, and networking issues.
Liaise and coordinate the recovery of system with distributors or relevant vendor.
Carry out installation, upgrading and maintenance of hardware, software and infrastructure.
Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.

Key Performance Indicator

All PM schedules are met.
All IT related policy & procedures are up to date.
Hardware and software licensing is well maintained.

Requirements

Diploma in Computer Engineering / IT Networking or any other relevant field of studies.
Minimum 2 years of relevant in network and system support.
Experience in Data storage, Microsoft system, basic programming, computer hardware and IT network knowledge would be an advantage.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of System security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
