Executive, Social Healthcare (Active Ageing Centre, Programme Executive)

Purpose of Position

Reporting to the Senior Centre Manager/ Centre Manager (CM)/ Assistant Centre Manager (ACM)/ Senior Executive, Social Healthcare, the Executive works closely with the Centre in-charge to manage the daily operations of the assigned Active Ageing Centre (AAC).

Executive, Social Healthcare (Active Ageing Centre)

Salary: $2900 - $3500

Job Scope:

• Support daily operations of the Active Ageing Centre (AAC).
• Plan, run, and evaluate programmes and activities for seniors.
• Conduct community outreach and recruit seniors as AAC members.
• Engage and manage volunteers for centre activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
• Monitor seniors’ participation, wellbeing, and engagement.
• Assist with data collection, reporting, and basic budget tracking.
• Handle ad-hoc duties, including home visits and befriending support when required.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Social Sciences (e.g. Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology) preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in eldercare or community-based work.
• Comfortable with programme planning, stakeholder engagement, and basic reporting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual/dialect-speaking is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work evenings or weekends when needed.
• Passionate, adaptable, and enjoys working with seniors and volunteers.
