Legal Administrative Assistant (Ref: 34944)

Salary: S$2,500 - S$3,200

Our client is a leading Japanese MNC company specialising in the supply of tools and equipment. They are currently looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant. You will work closely with the Japan HQ Legal team to proofread and revise legal documents.

【Responsibilities】
  • Proofread and revised drafts of legal documents based on advice from the Japan legal team.
  • Research, analyse and interpret laws and regulations in legal documents.
  • Record keeping of electronic and hard copy filing of legal documents.
  • Prepare legal and management reports.
  • Respond to all law-related queries from internal stakeholders.
  • Cooperate with Japan legal team on various projects, legal research and enforcement of company rules.
  • Ensure adherence to company rules concerning legal documents.

【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
  • Diploma in Legal or Law-related
  • At least 2 years of experience in assisting with legal documents
  • Candidates with a Diploma in Law-related and internship experiences may apply
  • Ability to work independently (sole contributor in Singapore)
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin speaking counterparts
  • Willing to undergo a month of training in Japan after probation (Courses will be in English, and the company will cover accommodation and travel arrangements)
(Preference)
  • Experience working in a Japanese company or exposure to Japanese culture
  • Programming language, while not essential, will be advantageous for database management.
