Insurance Executive (Motor Insurance)

We are seeking meticulous and driven individuals to join our team as an Insurance Executive. In this role, you will focus on preparing and managing motor insurance quotations across various insurance partners, supporting new business growth while maintaining strong service standards and client relationships.

In rotation, you may also be trained in front-end renewal operations, including managing insurance renewals, conducting customer follow-ups, addressing customer enquiries, and supporting retention initiatives to maintain a healthy renewal rate.

During the interview, candidates will be assessed to determine whether they are better suited for the new business or renewal function.

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare and generate new business motor insurance quotations accurately and efficiently across multiple insurers
• Compare coverage terms, premiums and benefits to recommend suitable options based on customer requirements
• Liaise with insurance partners to obtain competitive quotations and clarify underwriting terms when required
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of quotation details and supporting documentation
• Support smooth handover to the policy issuance team once quotations are accepted
• Manage email and phone enquiries from customers and internal stakeholders related to quotations
• Any other ad hoc tasks assigned

• Proactively manage motor insurance renewals to achieve and improve renewal retention rates
• Conduct timely renewal follow-ups with existing customers before policy expiry
• Identify customer needs and provide suitable renewal options to encourage policy retention
• Build long-term customer relationships through consistent and reliable service
• Coordinate with internal teams and insurers to support smooth renewal processing
• Explain coverage, premiums, and policy terms clearly and confidently to customers
• Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels
• Promote awareness of the company’s aftersales support services, including authorised workshop, accident reporting assistance and towing

Job Requirements:

• Entry-level, junior candidates are welcomed (on-the-job training will be provided)
• Prior experience in insurance agencies/brokers will be a bonus
• CGI certification will also be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
• Customer-centric mindset with a willingness to learn and a positive work attitude
• Takes accountability for work and demonstrates strong teamwork
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
