Fleet Management Team Lead / Manager (Automotive)

About the role

You will play a crucial role in supporting the company's transport and logistics operations.

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fleet management team, including rental transactions, vehicle maintenance, repairs, and replacements
• Monitor and respond to online advertisements across various platforms, addressing customer feedback promptly and professionally to maintain a positive brand reputation
• Developing and implementing strategies to optimise fleet utilisation and reduce operational costs
• Analysing fleet data and providing insights to inform decision-making
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
• Managing and training the fleet management team to deliver exceptional service
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align fleet operations with the company's overall business objectives

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a fleet management or similar role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and automotive components, with relevant experience
• Strong understanding of fleet management principles, including vehicle maintenance, tracking, and compliance
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
• Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to achieve operational excellence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards
• Self-motivated individual with strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to work in a challenging & fast paced environment
• Must possess Class 3 driving license - Company vehicle provided
• 5.5 days work week
