Global Data Center Provider - Solutions Architect

Our client is a global data center platform provider supporting enterprises and hyperscale cloud providers across major metropolitan markets worldwide.
As demand for AI infrastructure, high-density compute, and hybrid deployments accelerates, the company is expanding its architecture capability in APAC. This role works closely with an internal engineering and innovation environment where next-generation data center architectures are developed and validated before being deployed globally.
Role Summary
We are seeking a technically strong Solutions Architect with a background in data center infrastructure and engineering. This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure architecture, data center engineering, and customer solution design.
The position is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience across compute, storage, and networking, combined with an understanding of data center constraints such as space, power, and cooling.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver infrastructure solutions supporting hybrid/multi-cloud and AI-ready environments
- Develop architectures for high-density compute workloads, including GPU-based deployments
- Translate infrastructure requirements into rack density, power, cooling, and capacity planning
- Support solution design discussions and technical workshops with stakeholders
- Work closely with internal engineering teams to bring next-generation data center architectures into production
- Contribute to infrastructure strategies supporting AI workloads, high-performance computing, and hybrid environments
- Collaborate with facilities and operations teams to optimise deployments based on space, power, and thermal constraints
- Evaluate emerging technologies for next-generation data center environments
- Experience in infrastructure architecture, systems engineering, or solution architecture
- Strong understanding of data center environments, including power, cooling, and rack planning
- Experience with compute, storage, and networking platforms
- Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or high-density compute environments is advantageous
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure
- Knowledge of networking (routing/switching), storage systems, and compute platforms
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments
- Exposure to automation or infrastructure-as-code tools
- Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS, Cisco, VMware, NVIDIA)
