Marine Service Coordinators
Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS) is looking for one Port Service Engineer (PSE) Coordinators
As a PSE Coordinator you will be responsible to monitor, plan, coordinate and improve onboard service activities for our Port Service Engineers. When needed you will be expected to maintain and stay in direct communication with customers, aligning onboard visits with respective Port Engineers (PSEs) You will work closely with the Area PSE Managers, Port Service Engineers, and Customer Service to ensure quality of service delivered.By the utilising available IT tools, such as Salesforce FieldService which is to be implemented Q3/Q4 2023, you will ensure optimized performance based on resource availability and competence, and to meet agreed Key Performance Indicator targets.
The PSE Coordinators will therefore have exemplary proactive approaches to solving complex problems and challenges with the abilities to be role models with ‘can do’ forward leaning approaches to strategy development, growth activities, and cross-functional collaboration.
Who you will work with:The Port Service Engineer (PSE) Coordinators will report to the Global Port Service Engineer Director. Collaborating with the Port Service Engineers, Area PSE Managers and Customer Service.
What you will work on:
- Planning and coordinating activities performed by Port Service Engineers such as onboard visits on customer vessels
- Responding to incoming questions and enquiries related to Port Service Engineer activities with professionalism and speed, ensuring quality of service is delivered
- Quality controlling the PSE uploads and issuing the relevant reports and documentations after each conducted vessel visits
- Ensuring appropriate problem solving and close cooperation with other functions internally to fulfil customer needs in most efficient way
- Utilizing appropriate IT tools available for transparent and consistent way of working
- Keeping relevant internal stakeholders aware of all key issues related to specific product, technical and or service-related problems
- Actively work on a day-to-day basis to ensure optimal and efficient use of resources
What you need to succeed in the role:
- 5 years of experience in the marine industry
- Vocational technical or maritime training
- Good level of fluency in English
- Computer literate
