The Corporate Banking Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with corporate clients (predominantly Indonesia based) by providing comprehensive banking solutions, with a strong focus on working capital financing, trade finance, and corporate funding requirements.
The role involves originating new business, managing client portfolios, conducting credit assessments, and delivering tailored financial solutions to support clients' business growth.
Relationship Management & Business Development- Develop and manage a portfolio of corporate clients across various industries.
- Identify, acquire, and onboard new corporate banking customers.
- Build long-term client relationships and serve as a trusted financial advisor.
- Understand clients' business models, cash flow cycles, and funding requirements to provide appropriate banking solutions.
- Structure and recommend working capital facilities, including overdrafts, revolving credit facilities, inventory financing, receivables financing, and supply chain financing solutions.
- Advise clients on short-term and long-term funding strategies to support business growth and operational requirements.
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships through lending and treasury solutions.
- Collaborate with product specialists to deliver customized financing structures.
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and business performance to assess creditworthiness.
- Prepare credit proposals, annual reviews, and facility renewal submissions.
- Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with credit policies and risk management guidelines.
- Proactively identify and manage credit risks and early warning indicators.
- Drive revenue growth through lending, trade finance, deposits, and cross-selling of banking products.
- Monitor client profitability and portfolio quality.
- Stay informed of market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape to identify business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, KYC/AML standards, and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate and complete client documentation.
- Support audit and regulatory review requirements as necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Trade Finance, or Relationship Management.
- Strong knowledge of corporate lending, working capital financing, trade finance, and treasury products.
- Sound understanding of credit analysis and financial statement interpretation.
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience serving SME, Mid-Corporate, or Large Corporate clients.
