About the Role – Sales & Business Development Director (EMS)
We are seeking a high-performing Sales & Business Development Director to lead and expand Aztech’s EMS customer base. The ideal candidate is a strategic hunter with a strong commercial acumen, capable of not only identifying and developing new business opportunities, but also cultivating executive-level relationships and guiding prospects through the full business development cycle—from initial engagement to successful partnership activation.
What You’ll Be Doing- Develop and execute strategic business development plans targeting various EMS opportunities across priority industries.
- Lead market mapping and identify key OEMs/startups that align with our production capabilities and value proposition.
- Drive the full sales cycle – from lead generation, prospecting, RFI/RFQ, proposal development, to contract closure.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and program management to build compelling customer proposals.
- Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders at prospect companies.
- Maintain competitor insights and develop winning positioning strategies.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry forums, and networking events.
- Lead or support regional expansion or entry into new verticals in coordination with the management team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of sales/business development experience in EMS or contract manufacturing.
- Proven track record of winning new business and managing strategic accounts.
- Strong network with brand owners and OEMs in sectors like consumer electronics, IoT, or industrial devices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
