Techwise Offshore Consultancy provides design & engineering, marine assurance and project consultancy services to the marine, offshore oil & gas and renewable energy industries.

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development & Commercial Executive to support the growth of our business in the Asia Pacific region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, preparing commercial proposals, and supporting contract negotiations.

This role requires a deep understanding of the offshore and marine industry, including key players, regulations, and market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development
  • Prepare and updating marketing collateral.
  • Promote the company’s services through networking and social media.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the offshore and marine sectors (e.g., oil & gas, renewables, shipbuilding, marine logistics, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategy with company objectives.
Commercial
  • Prepare and submit commercial proposals, bids, tenders, and quotations in coordination with technical and finance teams.
  • Analyze project requirements and develop competitive pricing strategies.
  • Assist in negotiating contract terms and conditions with clients and vendors.
  • Review and ensure compliance with commercial agreements and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, contracts, and customer correspondence.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a BD or commercial role within the offshore and marine industry.
  • Experience with offshore EPC projects, transportation and installation, marine services, or vessel chartering is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of offshore and marine industry operations and clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic partnerships and close deals.
  • Commercial acumen and analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
