Senior Compliance and Risk Management Manager

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and oversee the firm’s compliance and risk management framework in alignment with MAS regulations.
Conduct risk assessments, compliance reviews, and internal audits to ensure adherence to Securities and Futures Act (SFA), AML/CFT regulations, and other relevant frameworks.
Monitor regulatory developments and provide strategic guidance to senior management on compliance and risk-related matters.
Lead regulatory filings, licensing applications, and liaison with MAS and other relevant authorities.
Design and conduct internal compliance training programs to ensure company-wide adherence to best practices.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across business units to proactively manage regulatory risks and maintain operational integrity.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Finance, Business, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs within the financial services industry.
Billingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken) to facilitate seamless communication with Mandarin speaking counterparts.
In-depth knowledge of MAS regulations, SFA, AML/CFT requirements, and risk management practices.
Knowledge of CSRC regulatory framework will be an advantage.
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
Experience engaging with regulatory bodies and senior management on compliance matters.
