Facilities Manager (GMAP/GMM) - Toa Payoh

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, manage, coordinate, and monitor the maintenance schedule of maintenance/term contractors;
• Participate in strategic-level meetings relating to building and facility matters;
• Assist in contracts management;
• Manage and audit maintenance/term contractors;
• Update and manage the documentation of O&M manuals, drawings, records, and standard operating procedures (SOPs);
• Attend regular management and operational meetings;
• Conduct on-site inspection walks and initiate self-initiative works for technicians;
• Conduct training for the Core FM team (on-site) on the operation of chillers, ACMV, BMS system, M&E equipment, photovoltaic system, uninterrupted power supply (UPS) system, and operating walls;
• Ensure a close working relationship with the client for assigned projects related to General Services and facility;
• Ensure smooth operation of all equipment and systems in the building;
• Address any prolonged issues or failures and propose remedial solutions;
• Support and assist in the design and planning of office layouts, furniture, and equipment for departmental and office spaces;
• Support and assist in improvement works, equipment/system upgrading, and cyclical replacement works;
• Familiarise with all equipment, systems, and services, and conduct detailed assessments to determine operational conditions. Provide advice and hands-on troubleshooting support as needed;
• Assist in implementing sustainable practices and initiatives to reduce the facility's environmental impact, including energy conservation and waste reduction;
• Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned by the client that may be necessary for the smooth execution of the present contracts.

Requirements:

• Possess a recognised degree from a recognised tertiary establishment or minimum four (4) years of relevant working experience in similar property type (chillers, ACMV, BMS system, M&E equipment, photovoltaic system and uninterrupted power supply (UPS) system) at his equivalent level with a proven management background.
