Senior Executive / Assistant Manager (Nursing Education Administration)

We are seeking a dedicated and organised individual to join our client in supporting the administration and coordination of nursing education and training programmes within a government healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Duties (80%)- Provide administrative support to Nurse Educators and guide admin staff in managing nursing learning and development functions
- Coordinate and manage a range of nursing education programmes such as Certificate of Competency (CoC) courses, Return to Nursing Course, Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP), hospital visits and attachments
- Manage programme logistics including nominations, registrations, record-keeping, and course announcements
- Liaise with vendors, staff, and authorities on training initiatives, agreements, sponsorships, and ensure HR policy compliance
- Support clinical postings for nursing students and coordinate between educational institutions and clinical departments
- Oversee financial processes including honorarium, student allowances, budget reports, and tracking of external funding
- Work closely with HR, Finance, and external agencies (ICA, MOM, SNB) to meet hospital training needs and funded programme placements
- Serve as secretariat for key committees — manage meetings, prepare minutes, process applications, and maintain databases
- Participate in meetings with nursing management and external partners
- Coordinate special projects and nursing education activities
- Support production of nursing communications (e.g. e-magazines) and assist with digitalisation and process improvement initiatives
- Undertake other tasks as assigned by department leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Arts and Social Sciences, or related disciplines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Good understanding of hospital operations preferred
- Prior healthcare or training administration experience is an advantage
- Strong organisational, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent communication and business writing abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible, proactive, and a positive team player
