Sales Coordinator / Executive (Freight Forwarding)

Position : Sales Coordinator / Executive (Freight Forwarding)

• Location : Pasir Panjang
• Working hours : 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday: 8.30AM to 5.30PM
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $3,000 + Commissions + AWS + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave + Medical Benefits
• Duration : Permanent
• Industry : Logistics

Responsibilities:

• Follow up with network partners, overseas offices and agents on rate enquiries.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate rates with overseas agents and carriers.
• Assist with rates filing for carriers and SOC containers when required.
• Handle indoor sales activities, including telemarketing to develop new accounts.
• Visit customers when needed to maintain relationships and support business growth.
• Coordinate with internal operations team on urgent shipment matters when required.
• Support general freight forwarding enquiries and sales administration duties.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics or shipping.
• Knowledge of forwarding operations will be an advantage.
• Good communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Able to work independently and handle rate enquiries efficiently.
• Comfortable with indoor sales, telemarketing and occasional customer visits.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
