Design Engineer (IoT Solutions)

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation and configuration of our software and hardware solutions.
• Coordinate with operations team to ensure smooth installation, integration, and commissioning of devices.

• Maintain the stability and reliability of deployed IoT systems to ensure uninterrupted data flow.
• Monitor device performance, diagnose, and resolve technical issues proactively.

• Lead technical excellence in hardware design, including analog, digital signal processing, embedded firmware.
• Ensure project costs, scope, quality, and development timelines are achieved within senior management goals.
• Manage the entire firmware development lifecycle—from architecture, coding (primarily in C/C++), testing, and documentation to final deployment.
• Design and review schematics and PCB layouts for rugged industrial hardware.
• Integrate wireless communication protocols such as 4G/LTE, LoRa, Zigbee mesh networks.
• Ensure seamless data acquisition, transmission, and sensor performance in the field.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong professional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Practical experience in embedded firmware development in C/C++ for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers, ideally for STM32series of microcontrollers.
• Practical experience in Wireless Communication technologies such as 4G/LTE, LoRa, Zigbee mesh networks.
• Practical experience in integrating wireless sensor gateways with cloud APIs on Amazon AWS.
• Practical experience in designing high precision analog circuits such as Amplifiers, filters, A/D converters.
• Familiarity with hardware design tools, such as schematic capture, PCB layout software

• Practical experience with analog and digital sensors for vibration / sound and its calibration.
• Practical experience working with or designing industrial electronics or sensor-based systems.
