Assistant Key Account Manager / Key Account Manager - Choa Chu Kang
You will be at the forefront of building strong commercial partnerships and ensuring our products achieve visibility and velocity in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities: -
Account Management:
Support the end-to-end management of assigned key accounts, including sales planning, forecasting, promotions, and execution across all touchpoints.
Customer Relationship Building:
Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key buyers, category managers, and supply chain contacts. Regularly engage in category reviews and business meetings to champion our brand, products, and innovation pipeline.
Sales & Business Planning:
Support development and implementation of business plans, promotional calendars and category reviews to drive account growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate closely with internal departments (e.g. Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistic, Finance) to deliver seamless service and ensure successful implementation of key initiatives.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Monitor sales performance, analyse sell-in and sell-out data, ROI on promotions, prepare monthly business reviews, and recommend actionable insights to optimize growth.
Market Intelligence:
Stay updated with industry trends, competitors’ activities, and customer insights to proactively identify growth opportunities, propose innovative solutions, drive corrective action and share best practices.
Problem Solving & Execution Excellence:
Proactively manage issues related to order fulfilment, stock availability, or trade disputes and ensure timely resolutions. Coordinate with Marketing and Sales Merchandisers to optimize shelf placement, POS materials, and displays across all assigned account.Support digital initiatives including e‑commerce feature campaigns, bundle offers, and marketplace strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in FMCG, preferably in account management or sales support roles.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail with good organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Nielsen/retail data is an advantage.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented mindset.
- Experience working with supermarket and trademarketing will be a strong plus.
