R&D Process Technologist

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility to handle internal sample-making requests and perform standard laboratory tests, ensuring consistent quality and accurate recording of test results.
- Collaborate with senior food technologists to develop new intermediate products using in-house food processing technologies.
- Support innovative projects aligned with industry standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Independently design experiments to troubleshoot issues and identify root causes through lab trials.
- Assist in internal sensory evaluation preparation and maintain precise results documentation.
- Liaise with purchasing teams to source raw materials for internal and external applications.
- Act as an interface between R&D and Production to ensure a smooth transition from lab trials to full-scale production.
- Resolve and troubleshoot issues arising from production challenges or customer complaints.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, housekeeping, and servicing of laboratory instruments.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety requirements
Qualifications:
- Min. Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Food Science, or Food Technology (or equivalent).
- Min. 3 years work experience in similar capacity
- Strong laboratory skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
- Knowledge of food processing technologies (e.g., spray drying, heat reaction, extraction) is an added advantage.
