Looking to add to our team of R&D professionals to cope with increase in client OEM project enquiries.

Job Summary:

As a R&D executive, you will assist the R&D Manager in developing, testing, and launching new products, improving existing formulas, and ensuring the quality and consistency of products. You will play a key role in the innovation process, supporting product development from concept to commercialization, while maintaining a strong focus on food safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of new dairy-based, frozen dessert, bakery, and premix products, from initial concept to final product.
• Support the R&D Manager in designing and executing product trials, ensuring that all testing and modifications align with company objectives and customer requirements.
• Conduct sensory evaluation, shelf-life studies, and stability testing to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality Assurance, and Marketing, to ensure that new products meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of product formulations, test results, and product development processes.
• Conduct competitive product analysis and contribute to market trend research to identify new opportunities for product innovation.
• Support the R&D Manager in ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving product development issues, including formulation adjustments and process optimization.
• Participate in cost analysis and contribute to the optimization of product cost efficiency.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and regulations related to dairy, frozen desserts, and premixes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in R&D, preferably within the dairy, frozen desserts, or food manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of food ingredients, formulation, and processing techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
