Job description

Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, transportation, and distribution in Singapore.
Establish standard operating procedures in export and import activities.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards especially for Singapore export and import.
Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, factories and customers to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation of goods in timely manner.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Supervise and mentor logistics staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and ensuring that the team is well-trained and equipped to handle the logistics operations.

Job Requirements

Minimum Tertiary education
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
Advanced users of MS office (Excel, PPT, Words)
Strong knowledge in areas of import/export, regulatory and logistics management
Good understanding of IT concepts including SAP
Strong communication and presentation skills
Able to work independently with and significant skills required in multi-tasking and time management.
