Key Responsibilities
Inventory and Warehousing:Managing stock levels, overseeing warehouse operations, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Supply Chain Management:Planning and overseeing the entire supply chain, including forecasting demand, procurement, and distribution.
Transportation:Coordinating and scheduling inbound and outbound shipments, resolving issues with imports and exports, and negotiating with shipping carriers.
Supplier and Client Relations:Building relationships with suppliers, negotiating rates, and handling customer issues.
Team Leadership:Managing, training, and scheduling logistics staff, and collaborating with other departments.
Technology and Operations:Using logistics software and IT systems to streamline operations and using data to improve performance.
