A Singapore-based power-tools corporation with strong track record of business establishment in Southeast Asia is expanding their strategic team locally in Singapore. We are keen on professional who has start-up characteristics with business strategic mindset, ability to work in a very lean environment, hands-on leadership and ability to scale the current business with the management teams.

Critically, you must have relevant industry experiences related to power tools in sales / business operations, has led commercial portfolio at least, regional exposure would be great, team leadership spirit.

Office location : Tuas

Key responsibilities
  • Define clear sales targets and KPIs, utilize analytics to track and enhance sales performance and reporting to the management.
  • Leads channel strategy & management by developing and maintaining a sustainable distribution network.
  • Oversee business operations and integrate sales channels seamlessly.
  • Use market and customer data to optimize sales strategies. Ability to use data analytic tools to analyse patterns, detect opportunities and gaps to improve business efficiency.
  • Drive market expansion by identifying and engaging with high-potential dealers and customers.
  • Implement a scoring model for the top three regional markets.
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to establish a strong secondary business pillar beyond chainsaws.
  • Implement a crm system to improve customer engagement.
  • Launch targeted campaigns to enhance commercial approaches and customer retention.
  • Cross department collaboration
  • Lead cross department collaboration with regular meetings between sales, marketing, and other departments.
  • Share/drive industry best practices and successful strategies across teams.
  • Alignment with principal with regular updates on regional performance and market insights, advocate for regional needs and support from principal.
  • Present strong sales team leadership. Recruit, train, and support high-performing sales talent.
  • Foster a results-driven and motivated sales culture.
  • Prior experiences in leading key performance indicators metrics based on market, financial and people management and familiar on managing kpis’ expectations for commercial purpose.
  • Possess strategic acumen in setting direction for tactical and operational sales strategies within framework.
Required skills & qualifications
  • Possess commercial/ sales experiences in power tools industry.
  • Regional experiences in managing complex sales operations particularly in handling distribution / dealership relationships.
  • Experienced in setting/review/improve and enhance commercial framework. Having proven track record in boosting growth and expanding branding regionally.

  • Ability to translate business strategy into measurable results
  • Strong and courageous leadership skills
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support teams

  • Ability to travel for work is required.
