F&B Waiter/Waitress

The F&B Waiter/Waitress is responsible for delivering service and operations excellence. He/She sets the tables, takes orders, and delivers the correct food to the corresponding tables. He/She is able to resolve simple guest related issues and managing reservations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up cutlery, crockery and glassware on table
• Operate Point of Sales (POS) Systems when managing beverage orders, guide staff when necessary
• Serve food and beverages to ensure all dishes match the order ticket to the corresponding tables
• Inspect the replacement of soiled tableware and service items to prepare the table for the next customers
• Provide customers with estimated waiting time by monitoring the guest waiting list
• Escort customers to their allocated, reserved or available seats
• Address customers' queries and suggest food and beverages to guests
• Address guests’ feedback and provide service recovery
• Provide go-the-extra-mile service to create a positive customer experience
• Build good rapport with customers to improve customers' experience
• Follow the organisation's personal, food and beverage hygiene standards, food waste management Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Assist in opening, operating and closing of shifts
• Replenish inventory at service stations

Job Requirements:

• Candidate should have at least a ‘N’ or ‘O’ level education, certificate in F&B management or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years in F&B Service
• Energetic with good interpersonal skills
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays on rotating shifts
• Ability to adapt and good team player
• Please note that this is a 6-days work week schedule
• Willing to travel to Sentosa Island (with free Shuttle Service Provided)
